A new start up salon in Cape Town is looking for 2 x Shampoo / Wash Bowl Assistants to join their team. The successful candidates will be SA citizens with Grade 12 and at least 1 years’ experience as a Shampoo / Wash Bowl Assistant.
Requirements
Grade 12
Certificate in hairdressing (advantage)
Open to learning new skills
Minimum 1 years’ experience as a washer
Good personal hygiene & grooming
Able to work under pressure without supervision
SA citizen
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 16:00
Closed Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities
Meet and greet clients
Prepare shampoos and products
Set up shampoo area
Wash hair
Apply conditioner
Understand and recommend hair care products
Gently blow dry hair / remove excess water
Assist hair stylist with various tasks
Assist at reception, i.e. receive guests, schedule bookings
