Our Blackheath (Cape Town) based client is looking for a Machine Setter with eccentric press experience. Only candidates based in the Western Cape will be considered. .
Requirements
Grade 12
Technical qualification (advantage)
Hands-on eccentric press and tooling experience
Good understanding of production processes
Able to read, interpret and work from technical drawings
Fault finding and problem-solving skills
Proficient with a tape measure and vernier
High attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work under pressure
OSH awareness
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15
Friday: 07:30 -15:00
Over time and night shift required
Salary
Hourly rate salary to be disussed with shortlisted candidates

Responsibilities
Set up machines for production according to work instructions
Monitor tooling and report to Toolroom
Examine for defects, measuring for conformance to specs
Adhere to standard times
Maintenance of measuring equipment - including calibration
