Our Blackheath (Cape Town) based client is looking for a Junior Engineer with a Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering qualification to join their team.
Only candidates already in the Western Cape will be considered.

Requirements

  • Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering qualification
  • Min. 2 years’ experience in a Technical / Manufacturing environment
  • Planning, organising and technical report writing skills
  • Excellent English communication skills - both written and oral
  • Good numerical skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative approach when it comes to new ideas
  • Quality conscious
  • Good attendance record and sound references
  • Valid driver’s license and passport

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday:  08:00 - 16:30
  • Friday:  08:00 - 16:00

Salary

  • To be discussed with short listed candidates

Responsibilities

  • Technical and after sales support
  • Writing and validating technical info for documentation
  • Implement a database of technical specifications & information
  • Provide technical information to Marketing Dept., Sales, Spares and customers
  • Assist with projects and research as required
  • Test and validate new ideas
  • Travel both local and internationally to provide training
