My Maitland (Cape Town) based client is a leader in the hospitality industry looking for 2 x experienced Process and Invoice Clerks to join their night shift team.  The successful candidate will be a detail-driven South African with 2+ years’ experience generating invoices, checking stock, generating orders, GRNs / GRVs, etc. who thrives under pressure and has strong Pastel V19 skills.
NOTE:  Working hours:  22:00 – 07:00 / Preference will be given to male applicants, but females are also encouraged to apply

Requirements

  • Grade 12 with Maths & Accounting
  • 2+ years’ invoice, GRNs and GRVs experience (min. of 100 processed per day)
  • Pastel v19 expertise
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Customer service focused
  • Data entry proficiency
  • Live within easy commute to Maitland
  • Own transport (due to working hours)

Working Hours

  • Monday - Saturday:  22:00 - 07:00

Salary

  • R10,000 - R12,000

Responsibilities

  • Create, verify and issue invoices, GRNs and GRVs to clients and suppliers
  • Receive client orders via e-mail / what’s app web
  • Process orders and check availability
  • Obtain approval before dispatching of orders
  • Record payments accurately
  • Resolve billing discrepancies
  • Ensure client details are always up to date
