Our expanding client in Maitland, Cape Town is looking for an HR Manager with 5+ years' experience coupled with strong leadership qualities to oversee and manage their workforce. This role requires someone who is assertive, disciplined and capable of handling a large team with authority and fairness.  You will need to be able to work Mon - Sat and start immediately.

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Diploma / Higher Certificate in HR Management (NQF6)
  • Minimum 5 years’ HR experience
  • Good understanding of SA labour legislation (BCEA, Labour Relations, etc.)
  • Proven track record of managing 100+ staff members
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills
  • Able to enforce company policies and ensure compliance
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Resilient personality - able to handle pressure and maintain discipline
  • Immediately available

Working Hours

Mon - Fri:  06:00 - 15:00
Sat:  06:00 - 10:00

Salary

R15,000 - R17,00

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Selection:  Manage the full recruitment cycle, from placing job adverts to sourcing, screening, conducting interviews and performing background checks
  • Onboarding and Exit Management:  Facilitate new employee orientation, prepare contracts and handle all exit processes, including exist interviews
  • HR Administration & Payroll:  Process payroll, ensuring accurate data loading, manage staff leave and maintain accurate personnel files and record
  • Industrial Relations and Compliance:  Support disciplinary hearings and grievance procedures, manage employee relations and ensure compliance with labour legislation, e.g. MCEA, LRA and EE)
  • Performance Management: Assist Line Managers with performance evaluations and implement performance improvement plans
  • Reporting:  Provide monthly HR reports to Management regarding staff turnover, absenteeism and HR metrics
