Description

We're seeking an Administration Officer in Westlake to provide comprehensive administrative support while managing the identification, preparation, submission and tracking of public and private sector tenders. This role contributes to business growth by ensuring compliant, high-quality tender submissions and maintaining the outreach register.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Higher Certificate / Diploma in Administration or Business Management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience in tender administration and co-ordination
  • Strong document management and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent written communication and professional report writing
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and organisational abilities
  • High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB)
  • Experience with Central Supplier Database (CSD) registrations
  • Understanding of construction procurement processes
  • Familiar with NEC and / or FIDIC contracts
  • Knowledge of government procurement legislation and regulations
  • Valid driver's license

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday:  08:00 - 17:00

Salary

  • R18 000 - R22 000

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office administration and support
  • Maintain company compliance records and documentation
  • Keep vendor registrations current and up to date
  • Monitor and identify new tender opportunities daily
  • Prepare, coordinate and submit tenders within required deadlines
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and business development activities
  • Update and maintain company profiles and capability statements
  • Ensure tender submissions are accurate, compliant, and of a high standard
  • Coordinate and maintain the outreach register and related activities
  • Maintain and update the company asset register
  • Ensure all company vehicle licences remain valid and up to date
